CONTINUOUS VULCANIZING APPARATUS FOR VULCANIZED RUBBER SHEET

PURPOSE:To reduce the amt. of a vulcanized rubber sheet to be scrapped by extending a pitch wherein the pattern of the joined part of a feed belt is periodically transferred to the surface of a rubber sheet. CONSTITUTION:A continuous vulcanizing apparatus 1 of a waterproof sheet is constituted so that an unvulcanized rubber sheet 7 is arranged on a feed belt 3 and passed through a vulcanizer 2 to be continuously vulcanized. The vulcanizing apparatus 1 consists of the vulcanizer 2, the endless feed belt continuously circulating and moving between the inside and outside of the vulcanizer 2, a taking-up drum taking up the moving endless feed belt 3 in a doubly superposed state and a drum unwinding the endless feed belt 3. A taking-up and unwinding member 5 capable of revolving those drums at the same time and a moving member 6 bringing the endless feed belt 3 into contact with one of the drums to assist double winding are provided.
