PURPOSE: To eliminate interruption of work due to shortage of copy sheets in printing work. CONSTITUTION: A controller 12 is connected to a user interface 28, a measuring device 36 and a counter 94. The measuring device 36 is a linear speed displacement transformer for measuring stacking height of copy sheets 64 on a tray 18. The controller 12 compares the height with the sheet number date of the copy sheets 64 from the user interface 28. When the sheet quantity is greater than the number of sheets, this is informed to an operator via a display device. |
