PURPOSE: To provide a construction that lowers the risk of undesired injury, particularly the risk of necrosis of tissues. CONSTITUTION: Catheter 19 is provided with at least a pressure sensor D1 or D2 in its distal end region. A supersonic positioning apparatus comprises supersonic position converter 9 and image forming unit 16. An output signal from at least one pressure sensor D1 or D2 is supplied to the image forming unit. Further, the image forming unit detects the position of pressure sensor D1 or D2 in a supersonic image on the basis of the output signal of pressure sensor D1 or D2. The corresponding marks D1' or D2', and F' which at least represents the central position of treatment acting area FZ are superimposed to the corresponding places in the supersonic image. |
