<p>PURPOSE:To perform mass production of physiologically active substance of a natural type from normal or cancer cells by culturing the producing cells and adding interferon on the production of the physiologically active substance. CONSTITUTION:The producing cells such as fibroblast is cultured in the presence of interferon to effect mass production of a useful active substance such as interferon, interleukin, colony-stimulating factor, tumor necrosis factor or hepatocyte growth factor. The interferon to be added is preferably the alpha- or beta-type.</p> |
