WORKING METHOD FOR METAL PLATE AND LEAD FRAME

PURPOSE:To finely work, and to realize a satisfactory work quality and high dimensional accuracy by preventing the deformation and the shift in position of an object to be worked during working in the working method of a metal plate and a working method for lead frame, using the working method of the metal plate. CONSTITUTION:A slit 11 is formed on a metal plate by laser beam machining. Reinforcing tape 21 is stuck on a web surface left after the slit 11 is formed in a reinforcing process after that. Next, a slit 31 continued from the slit 11, is formed by laser beam machining. Reinforcing tape 41 is stuck on the web surface left after the slit 31 is formed in a subsequent reinforcing process. A lead frame is formed by repeating this operation.
