摘要 PURPOSE:To ensure that print irregularities are controlled using a small number of kneading rollers and the feed quantity of ink can be changed easily in accordance with the content of print, in a printing ink feeder device. CONSTITUTION:A stepping motor (unillustrated) is used as a drive source for the return motion of an ink fountain foller 20 which transfers ink from a duct roller 10 to a kneading roller part 30. This return motion is independently controlled from the action of the kneading roller part 30 using a control part 40. Thus the number of return trips (shuttle speed) is increased significantly and at the same time, the subsequent single round of ink transfer volume is decreased. Consequently, print irregularities are prevented from generating by spreading ink uniformly using a reduced number of kneading rollers. In addition, the number of return trips (shuttle speed) of the ink fountain foller 20 is allowed to change in accordance with printing speed and the content of print, so that print density does not vary according to the print speed and the content of print. Further, the rotary speed of the duct roller 10 is allowed to change in compliance with the content of print.
