<p>PURPOSE:To provide a production method of a low water-absorbing inorganic building material enhanced in water-repelling effect of the inorganic building material without accompanying degradation of strength and also enabling to practice it at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:To a ceramic compound raw material consisting of cement, a silica type raw material such as silica sand, fry ash and diatom earth, lightweight aggregate, reinforcing fiber and a filler such as slag, slaked lime and gypsum, if necessary, 0.1-4.0wt.% water repellents and 0.2-2.0wt.% thermoplastic particles having <=2mm particle size are added and mixed to form a product shape, and later, it is aged in an autoclave. Sufficient water-repelling effect is attained without damaging the strength of the product even when using less quantity of water-repellents due to a synergistic effect of the water-repellent with the thermoplastic particles.</p> |
