<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a head lamp from projecting forward in a head-on collision by mounting a head lamp main body to a vehicle body on the outside and the inside in the vehicle width direction and making the inside mounting strength smaller than the outside mounting strength. CONSTITUTION:The inside mounting part 8 of a head lamp 4 is mounted to a center shroud 3 at a boss 13 through a washer 14 by a bolt 12, and an annular groove 15 is provided on the washer 14. An annular hollow part 17 is formed on the boss 13, and connecting passage 18 for connecting an outside solid part 13A to an inside solid part 13B are provided in the hollow part 17. In case of a head-on collision, the inside mounting part 8 is going to advance forward by inertia force, and the washer 14 receives forward force. In this case, the washer 14 is parted at the groove 15 whose strength is small, simultaneously, in the boss 13, the hollow part 17 becomes the separation promoting part, thereby the connecting passages 18 are parted, and the inside mounting part 8 is separated from the vehicle body. The displacement is not extended to the outside mounting part 7, and the head lamp 4 is supported by the vehicle body.</p> |
