ALKYLATED CATALYST OF PARAFFIN

摘要

PURPOSE: To ensure activity and selectivity and to obtain a highly branched paraffin compound having a high octane value by using a specified support. CONSTITUTION: The paraffin alkylation catalyst contains an organic or inorganic porous support and a mixture constituted by 80-99.5 wt.% sulfuric acid, 0.5-15 wt.% trifluoromethanesulfonic acid and 0-5 wt.% water. The support is impregnated with the mixture and has 0.01-1,500 m<2> /g specific surface area and 0.005-3 cm<3> /g total pore volume before impregnation. The support is substantially formed from nearly spherical particles having 5-150 μm average diameter.
