PURPOSE:To prevent a precursor substance as a solute from being discharged out of a system through a paper filter together with a solvent of a slurry. CONSTITUTION:A slurry 6 containing a precursor substance of ceramics is injected at a high pressure as a matrix into voids of a three-dimension fiber preform 5. At the same time, from the other side, the three-dimension fiber preform 5 is vacuum sucked through a paper filter 19. A solvent is discharged through the paper filter. In this manner, the slurry is infiltrated into the three- dimension fiber preform with a high density. In this case, the slurry in use contains a precursor substance of ceramics, powder obtained by previously thermally decomposing it, fine ceramic powder, and a solvent. |
