This invention consists of a device for vertical adjustment of a post inserted into a foundation. So far it has been difficult to vertically adjust a post inserted into a foundation embedded in the soil and it has also been time- consuming and has been a problem which is resolved by this invention. Based on the invention, it is suggested that at least one of the control functions that keeps the post centred in the foundation consists of a control device 5 which partially or completely circles the post where said device can basically be shifted in all directions in relation to the foundation's longitudinal axis 4 in an essentially perpendicular plane and is fixedly connected to the foundation 1 in each set position.
