The present invention relates to a device for control of a first electrical apparatus equipped with a triggering device, arranged in series on a high-voltage or very high-voltage line with a second apparatus and intended to be operated rapidly when the voltage at the terminals of the second apparatus reaches a defined threshold. It comprises a resistive divider (20) mounted at the terminals of the second apparatus, a set of two Zener diodes (21) mounted in parallel on this divider (20) and connected to a set of two emitting diodes (22), two optical fibres (FO1, FO2) linked to the emissive diode assembly (22) and connected to a power electronics device (24) which is itself connected to the triggering device of the first apparatus. <IMAGE>
