The invention relates to a roughing-tooth tool for cutting a rebate or a groove or the like, in the form of a rotating woodworking-machine tool, in particular for the production of window frames, consisting essentially of an annular disc-shaped carrying body in which there is arranged a roughing-tooth cutter, for example as an auxiliary cutter, fixed positively in a U-shaped groove extending from the periphery into the carrying body and oriented, for example, approximately radially, in particular to be adjustable in the longitudinal direction according to the elongated-hole principle and also releasable via a screwed connection, characterised by an engagement means in the groove for a corresponding engagement means arranged on the cutter, the engagement means, which permit adjustment of the cutter, blocking displacement of the cutter in the groove in the direction of the periphery, when interlocking.
