Slide stroke-position adjustment for slide catches

The invention relates to a slide stroke-position adjustment for slide catches for feeding and orienting sheet-metal strips relative to roller cutters. It is proposed to arrange an oscillation mechanism producing the slide stroke under the transport plane of the transport chains. Here, the oscillation mechanism, at a constant stroke of the slide catches and changing width of the sheet-metal strips, is arranged so as to be adjustable in its entirety in stroke position via an adjusting mechanism. The transfer conditions between flights of the transport chains and the slide catches remain unchanged during a change in the stroke position.
