The present invention relates to the use of inhibitors of HIV aspartate proteases such as HIV-1 or HIV-2 protease, and their salts as well as prodrugs for inhibiting the growth of tumours, especially those tumours which do not respond to inhibition of HIV aspartate proteases themselves, and for the production of pharmaceutical products which are intended to be used for the prophylaxis and, in particular, therapy of tumourous diseases, and to methods and pharmaceutical products for tumour treatment with these compounds. |
