A multi-spindle thread-cutting attachment is proposed which has a drive shaft (3) to be motor-driven and several work spindles (4). Connected between the drive shaft (3) and the work spindles (4) is a distributor and reversing gear (33) via which the work spindles (4) are rotationally driven by the drive shaft (3). Allocated to each work spindle (4) is an individual reversing clutch (34) which has an individual change-over device (35) so that the directions of rotation of the work spindles (4) can be reversed while the drive shaft (3) continues to rotate in the same direction. <IMAGE>
