摘要 For the non-contact registration of the velocities and/or directions of electrically conductive fluid media, a flow measuring device is proposed in which interaction between at least one magnetic primary field and inhomogeneous or non-stationary flow components is used. At least two magnetic field measuring components (4) determine the flow velocity, a DC field being used as primary field. The effective direction of the primary field and the magnetic field measuring components (4) is essentially at right angles to the component to be measured of the flow velocity. The magnetic field measuring components (4) are arranged one after the other in the direction of the flow components to be measured. The primary field has at least one gradient in the direction of motion to be measured. By virtue of this construction, the flow measuring device is enabled to register the velocities of electrically conductive fluid media accurately, even when components, especially walls, are arranged between the flow measuring device and the media, the walls consisting of electrically conductive material or containing such. <IMAGE>
