Method and device for setting a grouted anchor

A device for setting a grouted anchor through a sheeting wall into the earth in the face of pressurised water is described. The device comprises a driving tube for inserting a tension member and grouting material as well as an elastic seal between the tension member and the driving tube as a backflow preventer for the grouting material. The seal comprises sealing bellows which can be actuated hydraulically or pneumatically from outside and independently of the drilling operation via a separate control line. During the retreat of the driving tube, the sealing bellows seal off the driving tube still remaining in the drill hole so that the tube sections can be removed one after the other without suspension material or groundwater being able to escape between driving tube and tension member. Furthermore, holding or positioning of the tension member is possible.
