In a shoe for a jigsaw, with a sliding foot as support for the jigsaw and fastening means for the sliding foot, it is proposed to form the shoe from two parts connected to one another, of which the first serves as intermediate bearing part for fastening to the jigsaw, at the same time contains integrated suction passages right up to a point immediately adjacent to the jigsaw blade for connecting to an external suction-air source, and also carries the sliding foot, which forms the second part of the shoe.
