The present invention relates to an article holder for objects to be printed, such as glasses, vases, jugs or the like made of glass, ceramic, metal or other materials, which are clamped between opposite receiving elements, having a hollow shaft and having a receiving element with a shank which can be received with a tight fit in the hollow shaft and can be fixed therein. In order to provide an article holder for objects to be printed having the features mentioned at the beginning, in which a rapid exchange of the receiving elements is possible and nevertheless the precise seating and the holding of the receiving elements on the article holder without play are guaranteed, the invention is characterised by a quick-acting coupling, consisting of engagement elements on the shank and the hollow shaft which can be fixed in an engagement position by an actuating element (6, 5), which is provided on the outside of the hollow shaft (1) and at least partially passes through the wall of the hollow shaft (1), and can be released by actuating the actuating element. <IMAGE>
