The subject matter of the invention is an arrangement for controlling lifting appliances (10) with a supporting frame (12) and a load-suspension member (20) vertically adjustable relative to the supporting frame (12). In order to be able to control functions of the arrangement by means of the lift height of the load-suspension member (20) reached in each case, provision is made according to the invention for the load-suspension member (20) to carry a liquid container (24) which is connected via a line (26) to a pressure sensor (28) arranged on the supporting frame (12).
