Positionally stable permanent way

There is proposed a positionally stable permanent way and a method for producing such a permanent way which comprises rail-carrying sleepers, preferably made of steel or wood, which rest on a solid asphalt or concrete supporting layer, the sleepers, on the one hand, being fixedly connected to at least one profiled strip extending parallel to the rails beneath the bottom of the sleeper and downwardly away from the latter and this profile, on the other hand, being adhesively bonded in the supporting layer. As adhesive, use is preferably made of a polymer adhesive which has a high affinity for a steel profile (section) and the stones of the supporting layer. The anchoring of the profiles in the suppporting layer is preferably effected in a milled-in groove which is to be made in a precise position for prefabricated sleepers with corresponding profiles on the bottom.
