PURPOSE:To increase the solubility and the dispersion stability of a photographically useful reagent, and to reduce the generation of a stain of the titled material after photographic processing by composing at least one kind of a high b.p. org. solvent of a specified tricyclo(5.2.1.0<2.6>) decane dicarboxylate. CONSTITUTION:The titled material comprises a hydrophilic colloid dispersed in at least one kind of high b.p. org. solvent together with a water insoluble photographic useful reagent, and at least one kind of said org. solvent is composed of the tricyclo(5.2.1.0<2.6>) decane dicarboxylate shown by the formula wherein R1 and R2 are each alkyl or alkenyl group, etc., R3-R6 are each hydrogen atom or alkyl group, etc. The used amount of said compd. is a range of 1-200wt.% based on the photographic useful reagent, and said compd. is used in such condition that the said compd. and said org. solvent disperse coexistently with each other, in a uniformly compatible state. Thus, the novel high b.p. org. solvent having the excellent solubility and dispersion stability of the photographic useful reagent is obtd., and the generation of the stain after processing is reduced by using said high b.p. org. solvent. |
