PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber inexpensive to produce and stable in quality and effect a rapid rubber replacement. CONSTITUTION:A screen extruding machine which comprises a cylinder 2; a screw 3 rotatable in the cylinder 2 concentrically therewith; a mixing pin 9 provided within the cylinder 2, projecting therefrom and rotatable about its axis; a rotating means for rotating the mixing pin 9; threads 4 provided in the outer peripheral surface of the screw 3; a plurality of slits 7 formed in the crests of the threads and adapted to permit therethrough the passage of the mixing pin 9 upon rotation of the screw 3; and threads 13 formed in the outer peripheral surface of the mixing pin 9 along its axis. In the above- mentioned screw extruding machine, since rubber kneading efficiency is good and rubber warming characteristic is excellent, the rubber plastization efficiency is outstandingly good. |
