PURPOSE:An antibacterial composition capable of contriving to reduce side effects and medical payment, comprising a pyridone-carboxylic acid drug and phosphomycin as active ingredients. CONSTITUTION:An antibacterial composition containing a compound shown by formula I [R1 is 3-6C cycloalkyl, lower alkyl, haloalkyl, etc.,; R<2> is H, halogen, nitro or amino; X<1> is halogen; Y is N, etc.,; Z is group shown by formula II (n is 1 or 2; R<3> is H or lower alkyl; R<4> and R<5> are H, lower alkyl, etc.) or group shown by formula III (k is 0 or 1: l is 0, 1 or 2; R<6> is H, halogen, etc.,; R<7> is H, lower alkyl, etc.,; R<8> is H or lower alkyl)] or an acid addition salt or a hydrate thereof and phosphomycin as active ingredients. Combination of both the components can show excellent synergistic effects and reduce dosage of the drug compared with separate use of each component. A dose is preferably 10mg-1g/time pyridonecarboxylic acid drug and 20mg-5g/time phosphomycin. |
