A friction clutch especially for motor vehicles, with a disc carrying the clutch which may be fixed to the output side of an internal-combustion engine, a counterpressure plate which may be fixed with the previous one, axially and in a non-rotating manner, a pressure plate arranged between the disc supporting the clutch and the counterpressure plate, and movable axially and non- rotating with respect to the previous one, a disc spring provided between the pressure plate and the disc carrying the clutch, which, with external radial zones, rests on the disc carrying the clutch and with zones radially located further towards the inside impels the pressure plate, it being possible to hold a clutch disc between the pressure plate and the counterpressure plate.
