摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain a picture image having a stable electrification level and stable picture density for a long period by specifying the proportion of the residual solvent to the total amt. of a resin-coated carrier. CONSTITUTION:In the resin-coated carrier comprising a core material coated with a resin, the amt. of the solvent remaining in the carrier is specified to <=100ppm of the total carrier. As for the resin, any resin may be used as far as it has about 40-150 deg.C boiling point, and for example, vinyl resin is used. As for the solvent, halogen-base one is used. The concn. of the resin liquid for coating is preferably 1-20% for spray coating and 50% for dip coating. The drying time is determined to obtain <=100ppm, preferably <=60ppm residual solvent amt. to the total amt. of the carrier, which corresponds to <=2vol.%, preferably <=1vol.% residual solvent in the resin calculated under the condition that the solvent remains only in the coating resin.</p>
