摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To make smooth the traveling of a robot by sensing variation in the tension of a power cord caused by movement of a robot body through a photosensor disposed around a rotary board and compensating for the variation in the tension through rotation of a motor thereby sustaining a constant tension of power cord regardless of the distance between the body and a receptacle. CONSTITUTION: A motor 300 is turned reversely by a reverse signal delivered from the output terminal 02 of a microcomputer 1000 and a power cord 100 is stretched inward by the moment for turning a rotary board 200 clockwise. Variation in the tension of the power cord 100 is sensed by means of first and second photosensors 500, 600 disposed around the rotary board 200 wound with the power cord 100 and compensated for by turning the motor 300. Consequently, a constant tension is sustained for the power cord regardless of the distance between the robot and a receptacle and the robot can travel smoothly.</p>
