PURPOSE:To provide the table dividing method for displaying an index line, which displays index data meaning the respective columns of respective divided tables, at the first line position of each table when a table is edited while being divided into plural pages. CONSTITUTION:In an index line setting step S21, the respective columns of the table are divided, the index line displaying the index data for meaning the respective columns is set and in a table discriminating step S22, it is discriminated whether the table is outputted while being divided or not. When it is discriminated in this table discriminating step S22 that the table is outputted while being divided, in a document data output step S23, document data up to the divided position are outputted, in an index line output step S24, the index line is outputted at the first line of the rear side table inside the divided table and after the index line is outputted, in a table output step S25, the following part of the rear side table is outputted continuously to the index line of the rear side table. |
