<p>PURPOSE:To enable satisfactory tracing of a recorded trace by a rotary magnetic head by varying a spatial position of a rotary locus plane of a rotary magnetic head in accordance with variation of a traveling speed of a magnetic tape which travels in contact with one part of peripheral plane of a drum. CONSTITUTION:Recording and reproducing operation is performed to a magnetic tape T which is wound on a part of a peripheral face of a drum mechanism consisting of an upper drum Du and a lower drum Dd using rotary magnetic heads Ha, Hb. This device is provided with a guiding part G for controlling a position of the tape T which controls a position of the reference edge Te of the tape T by controlling a center shaft 6 of the upper drum Du having a contact face with the tape T and the heads Ha, Hb so that a recording trace formed on the tape T is matched with a rotary locus faces of the heads Ha, Hb, and a first tilt driving means having a cam CA or the like which tilts it to the center shaft 6 of a lower drum Dd having a contact face of the tape T. Also, this device is providing with a second tilt means having a cam CRA or the like which tilts the lower drum Dd so that the guiding part G of the tape T is matched with a position of the reference edge Te of the tape T.</p> |
