PURPOSE:To quickly plot a segment without deteriorating plotting quality in a segment plotting method adopting a multi-window system by plotting each divided segment based upon the inclination data of a segment and correction data referring to the start point of the divided part and executing the plotting of respective divided parts like a pipe-line. CONSTITUTION:A controller part 1 is provided with an inclination data calculating part 10 for calculating inclination data based upon the start and end points of a segment to be plotted, a crrection data calculating part 13 for calculating correction data referring to the start points of the calculated both end positions, a divided segment plotting control part 14, and so on. In this constitution, the setting of a window is detected based upon a signal outputted from a window setting part 11, positions corresponding to both the end parts of each divided part are calculated, and then correction data are calculated in accordance with an error corresponding to the start point of the divided part. The control part 14 controls a linear plotting part 2 like a pipe-line based upon the inclination data and the correction data so that the divided segment is not deviated from the original segment. |
