摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent the fusing loss of each filter by decreasing, when the amount of dust collected by the filters exceeds a prescribed value, the frequency at which the two filters collect and reclaim particulates in exhaust gas either alternately or simultaneously according to engine load. CONSTITUTION:Casings 3A, 3B are disposed in the respective branch pipes 2A, 2B of the exhaust pipe 2 of a diesel engine 1 and filters 5A, 5B are disposed in the respective casings. The filters 5A, 5B collect and reclaim particulates in exhaust gas either alternately or simultaneously according to engine load. Therefore each heater HA, HB and each solenoid valve V1, V2 are controlled by a control circuit 10 according to the detection signals of a differential pressure sensor 10 and a temperature sensor ST. In this case, if the amount of dust collected by each filter 5A, 5B exceeds a prescribed value, the frequency at which the filters simultaneously collect dust can be decreased when the engine load is high.</p>
