METHOD FOR PRODUCING APOLIPOPROTEIN

PURPOSE:To obtain an apolipoprotein in a high producing amount by culturing a CHO transformed with a specific expression vector containing a gene coding human apolipoprotein. CONSTITUTION:CHO cell is transformed with an expression vector containing a gene coding an eucaryote promotor; a gene coding a human apolipoprotein or human apolipoprotein-like substance of the formula; a splicing sequence DNA having polyadenyl site, 5' splice junction, intron and 3' splice junction. This transformed animal cell is cultured to provide the objective apolipoprotein E or apolipoprotein E-like substance.
