PURPOSE:To provide method and device for automatically moving a sound image while following up the movement of a talker. CONSTITUTION:Plural speakers 2 are arranged in lines in the width direction of a stage 1, and a microphone 4 with a pulse oscillator incorporated is possessed by the talker on the stage, and the position of the pulse oscillator is detected, and then, the speaker corresponding to the position of the pulse oscillator among plural speakers 2 is operated. On the stage 1, a position sensor 5 receiving an ultrasonic pulse and detecting the position of the talker, and a sound source position computer 7 calculating the position of the talker by a synchronizing signal from a pulse generator 6 and a signal from the position sensor 5 are provided, and the speaker of the position corresponding to the talker is operated by the output of the computer 7. Thus, since the position of the talker matches with the sound image nearly, the unnaturalness that both of them are separated from each other is dissolved, and the method is executed automatically without manual aid, and can deal with many talkers also. |
