PURPOSE: To provide a cap having a cushioning layer for facilitating the fitting of the opening part of a crown to the head of the wearing person. CONSTITUTION: This cap is composed of a crown 12 having a surface to form an opening 18 for receiving the head of a wearing person, an air-bag 20 having a 1st layer and a 2nd layer to form a space for holding a freely movable fluid between the layers, a bonding means to bond the 1st and the 2nd layers of the air-bag in such a manner as to divide the space of the air-bag into a 1st chamber and a 2nd chamber in a mutually interconnected state and a bonding means to bond the air-bag to the crown. The air-bag forms a deformable cushioning layer to facilitate the fitting of the opening part to the head of the wearing person.
