PURPOSE:To provide an air purifying method and device for positively purifying air in the central part of a wide space without impairing the appearance. CONSTITUTION:An air purifier 3 is provided with a tower body 5, a space part 7 which is installed in the tower body 5, a blow-off port 17 which is provided on the tower body 5 and by which the space part 7 communicates with outside the tower body 5, and a fan which is provided on the tower body 5 and for blowing air in the space part 7 off to outside the space part 7 from the blow-off port 17. An outer peripheral wall 9 of the tower body 5 is formed of soil 21 on which plants 19 grow and where microorganisms breed and a supporting means 15 for supporting the soil 21 so that the air flows from outside to inside the tower body 5. |
