STRIP MATERIAL FOR LINING EXISTING PIPE AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To prevent the detachment of a marine organism removing means such as a metal plate capable of generating a marine organism repelling agent over a long period of time and to develop a marine organism fouling preventing function over a long period of time. CONSTITUTION:A fitting ridge 13 is provided to one side edge part in the lateral direction of the base plate 12 constituting a strip material 10 and a fitting recessed part 18 is provided to the other side edge part thereof. A hinge part is provided to the base plate 12 at a position displaced to the inside in the lateral direction from the position of the fitting ridge 13 by a proper distance and the fitting ridge 13 and the peripheral part thereof are made bendable toward a copper plate 60 becoming an inner peripheral surface at a time of the formation of a pipe and, in such a state that those parts are bent, the strip material 10 is rolled in a coil form and the fitting ridge 13 and the peripheral part thereof are folded back to engage the ridge 13 with the adjacent fitting recessed part 18 of the strip material to form a pipe. A flame spraying layer 60 reacting with seawater to generate a marine organism repelling component is preformed to the part becoming the inner surface of the base plate by a flame spraying powder method.
