摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To simply set the optimum machining condition in an electric discharge machining device automatically setting the machining condition and the machining condition setting method. CONSTITUTION:A correlation graph generating means 2 displays the display data of a correlation graph 61 indicating the machining speed and machining precision under the inputted set data 5 on a display screen 31 generated from the machining condition basic data 7 experimentally obtained in advance. An actual machining condition determining means 1 obtains the machining speed and machining precision from the indication marker position data 6 of the indication marker 62 specified by its input key 17 and determines the actual machining condition. The actual machining condition is determined based on the machining condition basic data 7, set data 5, and the indication marker position data 6 of the indication marker 62, and it is displayed on the actual machining condition display column 63 of the display screen 31. An operator visually grasps the mutual relationship between the machining speed and machining precision, and even an inexperienced operator can set the optimum actual machining condition with a simple action.</p>
