<p>PURPOSE:To hold a line rigidly by providing recessed grooves in contact with facing protruding lines provided at a pair of wedge pieces when a wedge body holds the line at the inside of clamp pieces, and providing a gap between the facing clamp pieces. CONSTITUTION:Clamp pieces 1a' and 1b' of a clamp body 1' are formed in a small size. Protruding lines 6a and 6b of wedge pieces 2a and 2b are directly in contact with recessed grooves 5a and 5b of the clamp pieces 1a' and 1b' in this constitution. Since the contact parts are moved to the outside (opposite side from a line L), the moment loads applied on the clamp pieces 1a' and 1b' become small. Therefore, the cross-sectional areas of the clamp pieces 1a' and 1b' can be made small. Thus, the thickness becomes thin. Each clamp piece has the recessed groove in contact with the facing protruding lines provided at a pair of the wedge pieces at the inner side of the clamp piece. Therefore, the clamp can be made small and light. Workability is excellent, and the cost of material is less. Thus, the overall cost can be reduced.</p> |
