<p>The device includes a platform (13) with a facility forrotary movement around a vertical axis, a driving unit whichdrives it around it to follow the movement of the Sun, solarenergy collectors fitted on the platform, and concentrators (27)for directing the solar energy to the collectors. Theconcentrators (27) are a plurality of parallel reflectors ofelongated shape fitted on the platform (13), each of them beingparabolic, in order to concentrate the solar energy on ahorizontal focal line. The energy collectors are fitted at thefocal lines of the reflectors. Platform (13) can rest on a fluidtank or an other water receptacle for floating movement on afluid, and liquid for selective sinking of the concentrators (27)can be pumped when it is necessary that they should be protectedfrom adverse atmospheric conditions.</p> |
