A method of detection of discontinuous irregular movements of persons is describe. In accordance with the present invention the method comprises the following phases: - detection of movements of a person and formation of signals, - processing of signals in adaptation to a timer, - comparison of the signals obtained in the timer, - transmission of the signals to a signalling system if there are present signals deviating from pre-set values.
