PRODUCTION OF FUEL GAS FOR FUEL CELL

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing a fuel gas for fuel cell by treating a hydrocarbon with a desulfurizing agent, small in carbon deposition even at the time of using at relatively high temp. and high in desulfurizing ability, and further steam-reforming the hydrocarbon. CONSTITUTION:In the method for producing the fuel gas for fuel cell mainly containing gaseous hydrogen by treating the hydrocarbon containing sulfur with the desulfurizing agent so as to be <=0.2ppm in sulfur content and allowing to contact with a steam reforming catalyst, a copper-nuckel alloy desulfurizing agent in the range of copper:nickel=95:5-5:95 in the weight ratio of copper to nickel is used as the desulfurizing agent.
