PURPOSE:To grasp the state of communication in an antenna part even in the case of the distance between an ID controller and the antenna part being long in a device performing contactless communication between an ID controller and a data carrier through the antenna part using electromagnetic waves or the like. CONSTITUTION:An antenna part 2 is provided with a discriminating circuit 25 for discriminating an identification mark, and a state indicator 26 is connected to the discriminating circuit 25. It is so constituted that data transmitted form an ID controller 1 is inputted to a transmitting circuit 21 via the discriminating circuit 25 of the antenna part 2. An identification mark indicating data to be transmitted to a data carrier, and an identification mark indicating transmit data to the antenna part 2 itself are added to the data transmitted to the antenna part 2 from the ID controller 1. When the transmit data to the antenna part 2 itself is discriminated by the discriminating circuit 25, the antenna part 2 displays the state of communication on the state indicator 26 on the basis of this data. |
