<p>PURPOSE:To realize improvement of sheet conveyance performance through low-cost processing by a method wherein at least one or more semispherical recessed part is formed in the peripheral surface of a resilient conveyance member through which a paper sheet is conveyed. CONSTITUTION:Paper sheets loaded and contained in a cassette are brought into pressure contact with a feed roller (a resilient conveyance member) 10 through an upward energizing force by a pressure plate arranged to a cassette bottom part, and through rotation of the feed roller 10, the paper sheets are delivered from the cassette. In this device, a rubber roller is used for the feed roller 10, and a plurality of semispherical recessed parts 10a are formed in the peripheral surface of the feed roller. The diameter of the recessed part 10a is set to 100-50mum and a material having rubber hardness (JIS-K6031) of 18-60 deg. is used for a rubber material. The recessed part 10a is brought into pressure contact with the paper sheet for resilient deformation and when the sheet is contracted in an effort to restore to its original state, a force to grasp the paper sheet is exerted, whereby conveyance performance of the paper sheet is improved.</p> |
