PURPOSE:To improve the extent of accuracy for an impact judgment as well as to reduce any possible malfunctions by installing a noise controlling means which adds a restriction to an acceleration signal to be fed to a judging means at a time when acceleration working in the opposite direction to a movable body out of the extracted accelerating constituents has exceeded the specified value. CONSTITUTION:When a plastic bumper is broken by a light or medium impact or the like, by way of example, and a large negative acceleration is superposed on an acceleration signal out of an acceleration sensor 1 and thereby it is fed to a delay circuit 40 and a threshold circuit 41, it is compared with the threshold value set to this threshold circuit 41, and if exceeding the threshold value, in the meantime, a high level signal is fed to a monostable multivibrator 43, and both input-output intervals of a high level switch circuit 42 is opened as long as the specified time. In consequence, a signal attending on vibrations just after the breakdown of the plastic bumper is eliminated, therefore only the acceleration signal with no noise is fed to a square-law circuit 21, so that the acceleration signal is integrated in a state of no noise by an integrating circuit 22. |
