PURPOSE: To obtain a fluorescent substance useful for a continuous tone system having sufficient diffusibility by incorporating a layer made of a specific compound dispersed in a polymeric binder not transferred by a heat and forming of a support having a slipping layer on its rear surface. CONSTITUTION: A thermally transferable dye donor element made of a support having a layer containing a colorless fluorescent diphenypyrazoline compound dispersed in a polymeric binder not transferred by a heat and represented by formula on one surface, and a slipping layer containing a lubricant on its rear surface is obtained, wherein R<1> , R<2> are each independently hydrogen, halogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted 1-6C alkyl group or the like which may not simultaneously become hydrogen, R<3> is hydrogen, cyano group, a substituted or unsubstituted 1-6C alkyl group or the like, J is hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted 1-6C alky group, -CH2 -, -CH2 CH2 - or the like to complete a 5- or 6-membered non-aromatic carbocyclic ring, the fluorescent substance is dispersed in a polymeric binder such as a cellulose acetate, polysiloxane or the like. |
