PURPOSE:To simply obtain the information of other functions without interrupting a function working at present by linking information among respective functions in an information managing device provided with plural functions. CONSTITUTION:When a character string to be retrieved and a function to be retrieved are indicated through a pressure sensitive tablet 14 at the time of starting an optional function out of plural functions, a CPU 11 retrieves the character string from the function to be retrieved based upon function information stored in a RAM 13, and in the started state of the function concerned, displays the information of the function to be retrieved which corresponds to the retrieved character string on an LCD 16. |
