<p>PURPOSE:To update network constitution definition information without interrupting the communication of a subscriber by arranging a changed component file of network constitution definition information and an update scenario file where update processing procedures are described. CONSTITUTION:In a packet exchange 1, the changed component file of network constitution definition information and the update scenario file where update processing procedures of network constitution definition information are described are arranged besides a current file of network constitution definition information referred for start. The maintenance control part on the packet exchange 1 loads these files by the load instruction from a maintenance console 3 and reports the function stop instruction to each control part, which expands contents of the changed component file, in accordance with the update scenario. After data of changed components is expanded in each control part, the function start instruction is reported to the control part, and an update processing progress report based on the update scenario and a scenario completion report are transmitted to the maintenance console 3.</p> |
