<p>PURPOSE:To enable the data input/output device, equipped with an image display part, to make a data communication among respective devices without using any storage medium such as an IC card and a magnetic disk by providing a data input/output means which makes possible the data communication among the devices to the image display part. CONSTITUTION:The data input/output part C is provided in the image display part B or on a substrate where the image display part B is formed, and makes the data communication among the respective devices A by the propagation of an electromagnetic wave such as light. Here, a liquid crystal display device is used as the image display part B and the data input/output means makes the data communication among the respective devices in a blanking period wherein data for display which are displayed at the image display part B are interrupted. Consequently, the data communication among the respective devices is made without using any storage medium such as an IC card and a magnetic disk, so the device is reducible in size and thickness and the portability and operability of the device are improved.</p> |
