<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the water absorptivity of a vegetable and enable the obtaining of sufficient revival effects. CONSTITUTION:The reviver 1 for a vegetable is constituted from a reviving box 2 having a detachably arranged ceiling lid 5, a water feed pipe 7 for feeding cold water at about 4 deg.C into the reviving box 2, an ultrasonic vibrator 20, etc., capable of producing ultrasonic vibration. The ultrasonic vibration is applied to the cold water in which the vegetable is immersed in the reviving box 2 with the ultrasonic vibrator 20. Thereby, a pressurizing and decompressing phenomenon is continuously caused in the cold water. As a result, gases in a leaf of the vegetable are removed in decompression and the cold water is introduced into the leaf of the vegetable in pressurizing to enhance the water absorptivity of the vegetable.</p> |
